Del 25 al 27 de marzo, expertos del sector debatieron sobre el uso de componentes electrónicos comerciales en el Espacio, combinando tendencias innovadoras con estándares clave. El evento incluyó debates sobre soberanía europea, aseguramiento de la calidad y tecnologías emergentes. Con una destacada participación de las universidades, la industria y las instituciones, Sevilla se consolida como un referente en la agenda Aeroespacial europea.

The company leads the development, manufacturing, verification, and validation phase of the QKD-GEO prototype, which encompasses a quantum payload and its associated ground segment. With funding from EU recovery funds through PERTE Aeroespacial, this is the most advanced civil project in the world in this area. It will produce unhackable ground-orbit keys that not even the most advanced quantum computers will be able to break.
The Falco EVO, with an autonomy of up to 20 hours at 6,400 meters above sea level, will be key in the preservation of biodiversity, prevention and early warning in the Canary Islands. There, Telespazio Ibérica leads a joint venture with Pegasus Aero Group in the ISSEC project of the Fuerteventura Technological Park. The contract includes 700 flight hours during 2025, with special emphasis on the summer season.
Grupo Oesía, through its Tecnobit division, continues to demonstrate its experience in electronic design and its high space production capacity, providing a fundamental part of the electronics of the active antennas of two German communication satellites, as it did in the Spanish project Spainsat NG. These state-of-the-art satellites were awarded to Airbus Defence and Space GmbH under a contract with the German Ministry of Defence for its Armed Forces.
Sener has participated in the development of the SpainSat NG-I satellite, which will provide secure communications to the Spanish armed forces. Among other elements, Sener has been responsible of the front-end of the new DRA X-band antennas, both for transmission and reception, which will allow the transmission capacity of current satellites to be multiplied by 16. Sener has provided more than 10,000 pieces of equipment and subsystems on board 1,400 satellites.
On January 14, 2025, SATLANTIS launched the Garai-A microsatellite, marking a new era in Earth Observation. Equipped with the iSIM-90 and iSIM-170 imagers, it offers advanced capabilities like VNIR-SWIR imagery, polarimetry, and video for various EO applications. Through the Iberian Space Partnership with Ceiia and Geosat, it will serve as the precursor to the Atlantic Constellation. After its first month in orbit, payload calibration and automated systems are fully operational. Its successor, Garai-B is set for launch later this year.

Orbisat, con avanzadas capacidades de detección, rastreo y supervisión de activos espaciales, permite un seguimiento eficaz de satélites en órbitas LEO/MEO/GEO/HEO. Space Master es una herramienta de observación terrestre que utiliza IA/ML para caracterizar objetos en imágenes satelitales ópticas y SAR. De este modo, INTEGRASYS mejora significativamente la gestión del tráfico espacial y la identificación de amenazas potenciales en órbita.
The FoldSat SatCom terminals by Inster, the company hyper-specialised in satellite communications of Grupo Oesía, have passed the operation tests in jammed environments by means of an external GNSS receiver. FoldSat, designed and manufactured by Inster-Oesia Group, is the first foldable and fully ruggedised user terminal on the market to be marketed to operate with the Eutelsat-OneWeb Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite constellation.

In this field, GMV takes part in large-scale projects with increasing responsibility in recent years, particularly its role as prime contractor in the development of satellite control centers and the management of complete space missions.
