The Mission Planning Facility of Biomass, designed and developed by DEIMOS along the last two years for ESA’s Forest Mission to be launched in 2024, was recently delivered and accepted by the Agency.
This facility will be in charge of assisting ESA operators with the systematic planning and acquisition of the spacecraft’s fully polarimetric P-band Synthetic Aperture Radar, that will ensure a global coverage of all Earth’s forestry areas in less than 7 months.
