After the award formalized by CDTI, the GARBO Project has begun. This national commitment to the generation of a satellite quantum link will be used for quantum key distribution (QKD) and hopes to be integrated into the GEO component of IRIS2. Grupo Oesía expects a relevant participation in the project, through his company Tecnobit, which is starting its first studies in this Geostationary Quantum Key Distribution System.
