Telespazio Ibérica and Kreios Space signed an MoU to drive R&D in very low Earth orbit (VLEO) and explore joint initiatives in satellite services. The memorandum covers mission architectures, payload integration, and ground segment optimization. The alliance combines Telespazio’s geoinformation and operations with Kreios’s VLEO propulsion to bid for AEE, European Commission and ESA calls. It opens key markets in defence, secure communications and QKD applications. The first project is TERRAGUARD, a VLEO emergency monitoring satellite proposed to CDTI, focused on Galicia.
