THE SECRETARY OF STATE FOR DEFENCEAmparo Valcarce, and the CEO of Hisdesat, Miguel Ángel García Primo, signed an agreement in early September to extend the life of the PAZ satellite until 2028. Defence thus ensures the provision of high-resolution images, an essential tool for obtaining strategic information, and the performance of surveillance and monitoring tasks. Until then, Hisdesat and MINISDEF will be working on PAZ 2, the replacement for the current satellite.
