ALTER celebrates its crucial role in the PLATO project, completing its tasks after years of collaboration with the ESA and payload equipment manufacturers. PLATO, fundamental to understanding the universe, will seek exoplanets using high-precision cameras. ALTER has coordinated the selection of technologies and procurement of components, both qualified and COTS, and critical components, and all the associated tests required to ensure compliance with mission requirements. Their commitment and expertise have helped achieve the objectives of the project.
