ARRAKIHS (Analysis of Resolved Remnants of Accreted galaxies as a Key Instrument for Halo Surveys) has been selected as ESA’s next F-class mission to study dark matter in the Universe.
Prof. Rafael Guzmán, CSIC researcher at IFCA, is Principal Investigator of the international consortium coordinating the mission. The launch is scheduled for 2030 and SATLANTIS’ iSIM technology will be the main instrument: two binocular visible and infrared cameras based on the iSIM-170 flight-proven model.
