The Minister of Defence, Margarita Robles, and the Secretary of State, Amparo Valcarce, visited the Thales Alenia Space facilities in Tres Cantos last April to see first-hand the evolution of Hisdesat's SpainSat NG II satellite.
These satellites will begin to provide service to the Spanish Government and the Armed Forces from 2025. They will provide a secure and resilient communications system, which will be among the ten most modern in the world.
