Telespazio Ibérica has been awarded the contract to design, manufacture, launch, and operate the Canary Islands Constellation (CIC) for €21 million. It is the largest Earth observation constellation promoted by a Spanish autonomous community, comprising three satellites. It will have scientific, environmental, and economic applications. The project, promoted by the Cabildo de Tenerife, strengthens Telespazio Ibérica’s position in integrated Earth observation services and opens up opportunities in a strategically expanding market.
