Recently, ESA has started operating the second "Test-Bed Telescope" (TBT) at La Silla Observatory in Chile. The first unit is already operational at ESA’s tracking station in Cebreros, Spain. The TBTs have been designed to support NEO and space debris observations, working as a network. Quasar provides support to the TBT operations and maintenance. On the 14th of March, ESA was rewarded with the first NEO discovery of several, 2024 EL4 (Image Credits: ESA / PDO).
