\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tWhen we were born in 2008, the world would look\nat the stars with a dream-inducing vision of the\nunattainable, which as decades went by has become\na strategic reality with the ability to reach the great\nopportunities that present themselves to us in the realm of space. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tHowever, these opportunities are not exempt from\ncertain threats. And it is precisely the growing progress of space technology the reason why the physical boundaries between space and Earth must count with a series of measures that mitigate those risks and offer the certainty that all systems will perform as expected or allow for reacting in the face of the unpredictable threats that these opportunities can bring with them.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tFortunately, enough work has been done so that\neach of these risks is paired with critical technology that fulfills the technical requirements for safety. When we talk about a critical system, this does not merely refer to the fact that a system will work correctly, but also implies that countless factors, such as the protection of flight and ground personnel, the launch vehicle, the population at large, public and private properties, the space system and the environment, will remain insulated from the hazards associated with the space system. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThis means that establishing an independence when\nit comes to safety features and the development of\nsoftware components is essential to be able to offer\ninnovative capabilities in critical situations. For example,\nhaving a satellite launcher equipped with a unit that\nverifies the correct functioning of a rocket or having a\nrover that, in its travels across the surface of Mars to\ncollect and study samples of the red planet, responds\nin the most efficient and quickest way possible when\nfaced with any problem. This is something that we\nSpanish companies are still working on in order to help\nguarantee progress.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tAt a national level, our country is a leader in the\nadvancement of these technologies that aim to\nreduce the vulnerabilities that endanger the safety\nof our human team and of projects of the aerospace\nsector. Which is why our goal in the sector is to develop\ncontrol software for onboard equipment, with projects\nsuch as the development of the spectrometer control\n(SEB) subsystem of the UVAS project and the IRCAM\ninfrared camera that we have developed, becoming a\nleading company in space instruments for stratospheric\nballoons of CSBF\/NASA. \n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tWith the spectrum of possibilities\nthat space brings us, it will not\nbe long until we see systems\nso advanced that they will\nthemselves need even more\nadvanced critical applications to\nconsolidate the industrial foothold\nand foster aerospace safety. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tThe growing development\nthat we are experiencing\nmakes it vital to count with a\nnew generation of talent that\nhas enough training to face the\ndevelopment of software as\ncomplex as critical systems are.\nUndoubtedly, the growth of this\nsector needs to come hand-inhand\nwith an ingenuity that is not\nonly young, but also diverse and\negalitarian, where the footprints\nof female talent lead the way in\nthe constellation of challenges\nthat this generation will face.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t
\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tTherefore, our job is to\nencourage the young people\nthat used to see the sky as\nsomething inaccessible to reach\nspace through their knowledge something that will only be\npossible if we bring together\nscience, technology, diversity and\nequality to enrich the experts of\nthe future in a sector as attractive\nas this one. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tWith this in mind, it will not hurt\nto dream with the wide range\nof possibilities that space has\nto offer, but always with both\nfeet firmly on the ground and\npaying attention to the needs of\nthe sector today, so as to offer\na dependable response to the\nadvancements of tomorrow. \t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\tIt is no longer enough to apply\na patch to the adversities\nthat space can bring it is\nnow paramount to prioritize\nprevention in a field that is seeing\nan explosive growth, and that\nneeds a set of foundations and\nequipment that are prepared\nenough to rise up to the demands\nof aerospace systems.\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
