Thales Alenia Space contributes to ESA’s Hera mission

Hera, the first planetary defense mission of the European Space Agency, was successfully launched on October 7 and is now en route to the Didymos and Dimorphos binary asteroid system, which it will reach in two years. Thales Alenia Space in Spain provided the spacecraft’s communication subsystem, which will allow constant contact with Earth at distances of up to 500 million kilometers.
