Spain, through the Ministry of Defence, is now part of NATO’s satellite communications consortium with Hisdesat’s SpainSat NG I and II capabilities, which meet the Alliance’s rigorous standards for secure communications.
The accession reinforces the Spanish government’s commitment to security and international cooperation, and underlines the strategic role of the government operator Hisdesat in this field.
