SAMMBA, a project by GTD, has presented its final results at the GBSF 2022 conference in Marseille. The project aimed to develop modular launch base services for small payload markets that are cost-effective, agile and flexible.
The demonstrator showcased systems automation, artificial intelligence, IT systems virtualization, and augmented reality/virtual reality for operations support. The SAMMBA project’s results provide standard, modular base services that can be instantiated at multiple spaceports, enabling a multi-spaceport scenario for microlauncher concepts.
