Telespazio Ibérica is driving a paradigm shift in how cartography is produced in Andalusia. It’ll do so with an AI-powered intelligent system that will automatically detect changes in the territory, updating the region’s cartographic information. The project, awarded for one million euros by the Andalusian Institute of Statistics and Cartography (IECA) and funded by ERDF (European Regional Development Fund) funds, will have applications in urban planning, the environment, and energy, improving territorial planning and public administration management.
