The SpainSat NG-I satellite, manufactured by Airbus, was successfully launched in January from Cape Canaveral, in the U.S. Europe's most advanced secure communications satellite will enter into service in geostationary orbit in the second half of 2025. Operated by Hisdesat for the Spanish Armed Forces, this satellite represents a key step for Spanish and European sovereignty. Airbus' innovative active antenna system is an essential part of the payload developed by the Spanish space industry.
