Por primera vez, la Agencia Espacial Francesa (CNES) ha subcontratado la informática operacional del Puerto Espacial Europeo – CSG, siendo GTD el principal contratista de estas actividades. En dicho marco, la empresa se ha adjudicado los contratos de desarrollo (i-CDO) y mantenimiento operacional (MICO). Este movimiento subraya la influencia española en las operaciones críticas de lanzamiento en la Guayana Francesa, reforzando la posición de GTD en el CSG.

The Chair aims to jointly develop R&D&I activities, promote educational and interdisciplinary research activities linked to the Space sector, as well as the development of specialized talent. Thanks to the agreement, academic work, final projects and doctoral theses related to the development of new space technologies and using Artificial Intelligence or big data, among others, will be promoted, as well as opportunities for collaboration with the Spanish Space Agency.
ALTER celebra su papel crucial en el proyecto PLATO, finalizando con éxito sus tareas tras años de colaboración con la ESA y los fabricantes de equipos de la carga útil. PLATO, fundamental para nuestra comprensión del universo, buscará exoplanetas mediante cámaras de alta precisión. ALTER ha coordinado la selección de las tecnologías y aprovisionamiento de componentes, tanto calificados como COTS, así como todas las pruebas asociadas requeridas para garantizar el cumplimiento de los requisitos de la misión.
El programa tiene como objetivo desarrollar un microlanzador propulsado desde el aire para mejorar el acceso al Espacio de pequeñas plataformas. El Consejo Nacional de Investigación de Italia (CNR) ha valorado la experiencia de GMV en guiado, control y navegación (GNC), software de a bordo (OBSW) y aviónica para lanzadores, adquirido en diversos y relevantes programas europeos como VEGA, IXV, Space Rider, así como nuevos desarrollos comerciales de sistemas completos de aviónica.
PLD Space ha hecho historia tras completar con éxito el lanzamiento de MIURA 1. El vuelo inaugural ha demostrado el alto nivel de la tecnología y el conocimiento de la compañía. SpainSat-NG-1 is in its final testing phase, with most of the critical components already integrated in the spacecraft and the main systems already validated in preparation for launch in 2024. The SPAINSAT NG program is the most advanced secure satellite communications system currently available in Europe. The state-of-the-art active transmit and receive antenna system, built by Airbus Defence and Space in Spain, is the fundamental component of the mission.
Our MVPCU (Multi-Voltage Power Control Unit) has been selected as the main power unit for satellites based on the new “Hummingsat”, platform developed by the Swiss company SWISSto12. MVPCU is a new generation power unit, based on disruptive technologies, Gallium Nitride “GaN” transistors, massive use of automotive components and fully digital concepts. This contract confirms Airbus Crisa as a reference supplier of electronic units for New Space.
Cassini is a European Commission program fostering the European space sector by demonstrating technologies in orbit. Deimos has been chosen by ESA to deliver two cubesats missions carrying several experimental systems that will be launched in 2025. The contract includes the satellite design, development, integration, testing, space qualification and operation from Deimos in Puertollano. The mission strongly supports Europe’s competitivity goal reducing the time to market of new space products.
These are two of the lots of the framework agreement of the Subdirectorate General of Armament and Material Acquisitions (DGAM) valued at more than 60 million euros. This three year framework agreement will provide the Armed Forces with new terminals for the Satellite Communications System (SECOMSAT) for ground and naval platforms.
With an initial investment of more than 25 million euros, the first phase of the project includes 8,000 m2 of facilities (on a plot of 30,000 m2) dedicated to industrial production and engineering services for the aerospace market, in which Sener has experienced notable growth. They will host more than 300 highly qualified professionals in the coming years; 100 of them will cover newly created positions.
