The 2024 edition of the Small Satellites and Services International Forum (SSSIF2024), held from February 20 to 22 in Malaga, has become one of the most important annual space congresses in Spain.
This year round, the main subject was focused on missions and business opportunities on the Moon and its orbit.
This fifth edition drew its highest level of attendance to date: 72 panelists and 422 professionals from 175 companies from over twenty countries, which included manufacturers, technicians, scientists, suppliers, investors, developers and launch companies. Additionally, 16 universities and several space agencies participated in the event, seizing the opportunity to present their projects and share ideas. Over 50 high-level technical papers were also presented. Year after year the congress keeps growing in terms of attendance and sponsors, who totaled 23 in this edition.
The forum counted with speakers from organizations such as NASA, the European Space Agency (ESA) and the Spanish Space Agency (AEE), as well as from the most important Spanish space companies and the regional administration through Andalucia Trade.
After this success, the 6th edition planned for 2025 will focus on Industrialization and Sustainability in Space, scheduled to take place in February between Tuesday 18 and Thursday 20.
